_ Administer all core functions in underwriting department.

_ Set up an effective and smooth standard operation Procedures in underwriting

department for supporting the company’s daily business operation.

_ Ensure that underwriting operation is met with all compliance requirements in connection with local regulators or overseas partners.

_ Ensure the company’s growth and profitability from all lines of business.

_ Prepare underwriting guidelines for the company and authority limits to relevant staff in

UW Department, subject to be approved by CEO.

_ Provide product or technical training to all business channels upon a request.

_ Keep motivating all staff in the department and create a culture of teamwork spirit.

_ Keep motivating all staff to remember and respect the company’s vision, mission and

core value set.

_ Ensure that daily works run smoothly and are solved reasonably and professionally.

_ Arrange and propose terms for the company’s reinsurance treaty on an annual basis with the CEO

_ Check and verify all reports under underwriting department are correctly produced and

well controlled both in hard files and online files, including Premium Register, Treaty Risk Bordereaux, Facultative Reinsurance Bordereaux, Co-insurance

_ Bordereaux and MEF’s Business Statistics (Monthly, Quarterly and Year-Ended Reports).

_ Handle all product approvals for submission to Ministry of Economy and Finance,

including Khmer translation.

_ Ensure that reinsurance capacity is fully supported from both local or overseas

reinsurance partners prior to binding the terms and conditions.

_ Handle and supervise the financial institution business channel and co insurance and

ensure that the premium meets the company’s target.

_ Assist other UW members if their works are overloaded.
