+ Conduct Media Calls

− Assist to conduct proactive media calls to bring to the media the latest information related to hotel promotions and other​ activities.

− Conduct the media calls in a systematic manner by planning in advance according to the set guidelines and business​​ need.

− All media call activities are to be properly documented for future reference and submitted to Director of Communications for review.

− Ensure all enquires are handled promptly and efficiently.

− Be proactive in pursuing opportunities for hotel promotions

+ Press Release

− Compile and update the Press Release distribution list.

− Assist to prepare press release on any hotel promotions and special events or activities and forward to respective media.

+ Hotel Promotions

− Participate in the planning and coordinating with all hotel promotions.

− Closely work with F&B on all regular promotions and promotional ideas.

− Assist to maintain the hotel promotional database and responsible for updating the database.

+ Brochures and Promotional Materials.

− In charge of any photo shooting for promotional purposes.

− Ensure that all designs of brochures, flyers, posters and advertising are done accordingly to New World Beijing Hotel

Guidelines and Standards.

− Assist the distribution of all promotional materials and constantly review the current distribution channels and come up

with new ideas for enhancement.

+ Hotel Image

− Assist to maintain a positive image of the Hotel.

− Be responsible for the controlling of any use of the hotel premises for any professional filming or photo shooting arranged by outsiders.

− Ensure all information related to the Hotel is updated in both external and internal publications and websites.

+ Fully utilize all New World Beijing Hotel Resources

− Closely work with sister properties in creating cluster promotions and awareness.

− Maintain close communication with related Departments in New World Hotel Management Ltd. Corporate on all Hotel Promotions and Events.

+ Artwork

− In house artwork design & editing of graphics and materials

+ Others

− Other tasks assigned by Director of Communications and Communication Manager

Other standard responsibilities

+ Complies to the company policies.

+ Takes on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.

+ Develops and updates policies and manuals, as related to the division/department, for implementation in the field, while ensuring compliance to the same for consistency across the group.

+ Actively participates in and leads recruitment and talent development for the division/department, to meet both current and future needs

+ Is a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.

- Ability to communicate effectively with various departments.

- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills

- Excellent command of English & Mandarin reading and writing ability is required.

- Tenacious, self-motivated and highly energetic; Strong results orientated disposition
