-Clinical Responsibilities – General -Planning and simulating patients in preparation for radiotherapy treatment. -Planning using CT images: -To Supervise the Therapy Radiographer whether he/she identifies the correct Patient and the Explanation about the Planning Procedures. -Determining patient position for CT scans and radiotherapy treatment. Identifying CT scanning levels dependant on diagnosis. -To prepare the C.T. Plan Data Sheet for Computerized Plan. -Verifying the C.T. Plan Data Sheet. -To Train and Guide the Therapy Radiographers about Overall Work Flow. -Planning without the use of CT images:( SIMULATOR) -Supervising/Performing the Morning Q. A. -To Supervise the Therapy Radiographer whether he/she identifies the correct Patient and the Explanation about the Planning Procedures. -Checking the Simulator Planning scheduling List. -Following the Pre-plan Procedures for the New Cases. -Making/Supervising the immobilization devices if any required( Face Mask/Vac-Loc) -Checking isocentre points, entry points, collimator twist and all treatment borders on immobilisation devices and ensure everything is correctly labelled. -To perform Post-Plan Procedure(Screening), -To Verify the Film Exposures before showing it to the Oncologists. -Preparing/Checking the Simulation Data Sheet and to note if there is any changes by the Oncologists in the Plan/Marker Film. -To Train and Guide the Therapy Radiographers about Overall Work Flow

-Supervising/Making Electron/Photon Customized Blocks when required. -Supervising/Preparing Wax Bolus. -To follow Safety Procedures. -To Train and Guide the Therapy Radiographers about Overall Work Flow. -Treatment delivery: -To Supervise the Therapy Radiographer whether he/she identifies the correct Patient and the Explanation about the Planning Procedures. -Confirming/Supervising patient’s set up and correct treatment field position. -Supervising/Checking all treatment parameters in the computerised verification system before treatment can be accurately delivered. -Delivering Radiotherapy treatment to patients as per the Treatment Plan. -Taking Electronic Portal Imaging for Verification and Documentation with Oncologist’s Approval. -Monitor patients closely during delivery of radiotherapy treatment. -Verifying/Ensuring all documents of Radiotherapy treatment and patient’s clinical details.
