1. Customs Documentation and Compliance:

- Prepare and process import/export documentation according to customs regulations.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations to prevent delays and penalties.

- Classify goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) and determine duty rates.

2. Client Liaison:

- Act as a liaison between clients and customs authorities.

- Provide clients with advice and guidance on customs-related issues.

- Resolve client queries and concerns related to customs clearance.

3. Customs Clearance:

- Facilitate the clearance of goods through customs by coordinating with customs officials.

- Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs entries and related documents.

- Monitor the status of shipments and communicate updates to clients.

4. Duty and Tax Calculation:

- Calculate import duties, taxes, and other charges accurately.

- Advise clients on potential costs and savings related to customs duties and taxes.

5. Tariff and Trade Consultation:

- Advise clients on tariff classifications, duty drawback, and preferential trade agreements.

- Assist clients in understanding and benefiting from trade agreements and special trade

programs.

6. Compliance Audits and Reporting:

- Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to customs regulations.

- Prepare reports and maintain records of customs transactions and activities.

- Assist in the preparation for and response to customs audits.

7. Training and Development:

- Stay current with changes in customs laws, regulations, and industry practices.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

- Train and mentor junior staff members in customs procedures and compliance.

8. Technology Utilization:

- Utilize customs software for electronic filing and tracking of shipments.

- Implement and maintain systems to streamline customs processes and improve

efficiency.

9. Problem Resolution:

- Identify and resolve issues related to customs clearance, such as delays or compliance

violations.

- Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders to address and resolve disputes.

➢ Licensing:

- Must hold and maintain a valid customs broker license from Ministry of Finance & Customs Department of Cambodia

➢ Company has clients on hand and strong network, only requires a capable motivated

person with customs broker license

➢ Languages:

- Fluent in at least 2 of the following; KHMER, ENGLISH, CHINESE Additionally languages or

fluency in all 3 are major plus points.

➢ Experience:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience related field knowledge of Purchasing supplier chain.
