Job Description

• Mow, fertilize, roll, seed or re-sod, water, rake, aerate, weed and perform other turf-related maintenance

• Measure and mark field for full-field and half-field soccer games

• Maintain equipment (e.g. by replacing fuel, fluids and oil in the mower)

• Work safely using all required protective gear and perform safety checks on machinery before use

• Report any malfunction and maintenance issues related to machinery or the water pump

• Assist with the preparation of the field maintenance budget and prepare supply orders (e.g. for field paint and fertilizer) as requested

• Clean and maintain landscaped areas

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager

Job Requirements

o High school education and/or turfgrass maintenance qualification or equivalent

o At least 2 years of directly relevant experience preferred

o Valid driver’s license preferred

o Knowledge, Competencies and Attributes

o Knowledge of gardening, lawn care practices or, preferably, turfgrass maintenance (mowing, fertilizing, etc.) acquired in a similar setting (e.g. a golf course, athletic field)

o Able to use, or willing to learn to use, a push mower and riding mower

o Able to follow health and safety protocols when handling fertilizer and using machinery

o Detail-oriented, positive attitude and comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather

o Proficient in written and spoken Khmer; spoken and written English a strong advantage

o Able to communicate with and understand instructions from management

o Child safeguarding: CIS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to:
