• Assist health assessments, based on health and developmental history of students.

• Assist the school nurse to plan and implement school health management protocols for students with chronic health problems, including the administration of medication.

• Assist to Initiates referrals to parents and school personnel for intervention, remediation, and follow-through.

• Assist to provide updated information to students, parents and school personnel.

• Assist the school nurse maintains, evaluates and interprets cumulative health data to accommodate individual needs of students.

• Assist to develop procedures and provide for crisis intervention for acute illness and injury.
