MIS report and dashboard developer is responsible for designing, building, and implementing dataset, reports, visualization dashboards in PowerBI and other visualization tools. In addition, the individual is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models as well as our centralized data store meanwhile ensuring the data accuracy and integrity through various data validation and monitoring means.

The individual will work with all levels of management and business functions to understand their requirements and translate it to reports/dashboards requirements to achieve their strategic priorities.

- Design, build, and implement dataset, reports and visualization dashboards in PowerBI and other visualization tools.

- Enhance, automate, and streamline existing information systems and management reports to meet the key business information requirements.

- Design and develop data mapping, data modelling, data aggregation to provided simplified and comprehensive data for business analytics and intelligence.

- Design and develop data for performance metric and MI needed for data visualization and dashboard design.

- Create, review, and analyze complex, integrated data models and information from various sources (ERP, CRM, EDW, and unstructured data, etc.) to provide insight to key business decision makers

- Perform SQL query tuning and performance optimization on complex inefficient queries.

- Support and maintain PCLA Centralized Data Store.

- Work with IT team to ensure data sync from core system are timely and correct to avoid business disruption. Through establishment of collaborative issue monitoring and reporting process, and development of data reconciliation and monitoring mechanism for auto detection.

- Migrate data from one system to another using ETL techniques and best practices.

- Verify correctness and completeness of data model, data relationships, and mappings to meet all the intended business needs by validating existing data sources, reports and ensuring data integrity.

- Identify business information needs for an enterprise data warehouse and related reporting structures and interfaces.

- Ensure continuous improvement and enhancement to company data management framework to comply with group data policies.

- Work with all levels of management and business functions to understand their requirements and translate it into reports/dashboards to achieve their strategic priorities.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science / Computer Science and Engineering / Management Information System or related fields with Business degree is a bonus.

- 2-5 years of work experience with at least 2 years of experience working in a similar role

- Experience in design and develop reports and data visualization dashboards using DAX and other database access means in Power BI, and various reporting & visualization tools.

- Experience in writing complex queries and data analysis in various databases: SQL Server, DB2, Couchbase, MySQL, Oracle, SQLITE

- Understanding of corporate organizational operation procedure, framework and policies, and cross-functional structure.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent activities while managing user expectations

- Strong listening skills, teamwork and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.

- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders both verbal and in written format.

- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment without daily oversight

- Ability to work with a globally distributed cross functional team.
