The overall job description below outlines the main areas of responsibilities of the Employee:

• Coordinate the courses and competencies taught in Lab Sciences Associate Degree curriculum at UP

• Lead the teaching of Lab Sciences Associate Degrees at UP

• Work with faculty, students and staff to implement the educational mission of UP

• Liaise with faculty in coordinating, scheduling and tracking of educational delivery

• Coordinate and participate actively in reviewing and improving content and delivery of Lab Sciences Associate Degrees

• Serve as the course director for Lab Sciences Associate Degree and participate in student progress evaluation

• Coordinate and participate in the evaluation of student outcomes

• Evaluate the Lab Science Associate Degree faculty teaching, including informal and formal performance evaluations and improvements related to the curriculum and its delivery

• Participate with academic staff in the student evaluation of teaching and their Lab Sciences instruction

• Work closely with all academic staff in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment with respect to the specific topics in basic science as related to health care in general

• Work closely with all academic staff to optimize the use of technology to support the department's teaching programs

• Support the Dean of Health Science and Biotechnology as related to curriculum management, learning outcomes, and other areas related to the educational mission

• Supervise and mentor graduate and professional students and junior faculty in Lab Sciences

• Set up effective and appropriate environment for studying in lab rooms

• Coordinate any activities in medical laboratory club at UP

• Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Dean of Health Science and Biotechnology

1. Experience:

• At least 3 years administrative and teaching experience managing personnel and

• programmes in medical laboratory

2. Education:

• Bachelor (Masters preferred) Medical Laboratory Degree or related discipline

3. Skills/Competencies:

• Knowledge and Experiences of delivering Associate Degrees of Lab Sciences

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team

• Excellent oral and written command of English

• Excellent oral and written command of Khmer

• Knowledge of higher education administration and curriculum development

• principles/practices

• Knowledge of accreditation standards and processes
