Job Description

• Manage, motivate, train, and lead sale team to increase productivity and ensure efficiency

• Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales

• Deal with staffing issues, new recruitment, interview potential staff, conduct performance reviews and appraisal as well as providing or organizing training and development

• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health, safety and security are met.

• Respond to customer complaints and comments

• Organize special promotions, displays and events as required.

• Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues

• Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry

• Understand customer demands, and keep monitoring what local competitors are doing.

• Initiate changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market.

• Manage stock levels and making key decisions on inventory control

• Prepare day-to-day fixed asset register, serial tag and filing asset documents

• Perform daily quotation, delivery order and invoice posting

• Follow up customer for collection and receivable then verify cash collection

• Produce payment plan and process for approval

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report of invoice, collection, payment, sales report, cash book, petty cash & stock report

• Manage A/P or A/R outstanding

• Ensure the success and profitability of the business

• Perform other tasks as assigned by Retail Shop Manager

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or equivalent

• At least 2 years of relevant experiences in retail sector

• Strong organizational and operational management skills

• Analytical mind and effective problem-solving skills

• Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Email, Social Media is a plus

• Good level of English both written and spoken
