1. Works Closely with Asst.Chief Steward and Steward shift leader /steward attendant1

2. To maintain all work areas in kitchen to be clean and keep high Hygiene at all time.

3. To assist in monitoring loss and breakage, broken chinaware and glassware to be placed on container provided as washing point.

4. To be a ware of the fire safety rules of the hotel.

5. Properly clean all work and assigned area according to stewarding department quaintly standards

6. To ensure proper organized storage operating equipment and supplier for various outlets

7. To assist Chief Steward /Asst. Chief Steward /Steward shift leader to set up the buffet counter according to Chefs Kitchen and Chefs Canteen plant

8. To follow up with chefs , Service staffs or Kitchen staffs of the equipment that use in the kitchen or service outlets need to be washed

9. To maintain dishwashing machine to be in good condition by operating it property.

10. To assist the chief steward /Asst. Chief steward /Steward shift leader to Chemical usage

11. Monitoring washing / chemical materials and reports to Chief Steward / Asst. Chief Steward/Steward Shift leader when running out of stocks.

12. To Respect the kitchen and steward organization Chart

13. Required to attend the training course and attend daily steward briefing.

14. To maintain good communication with all staff

15. To follow with all Hotel rules and regulation

** Other Duties

• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag.

• To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.

• To provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.

• To maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.

• To read the hotel’s Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

• To comply with local legislation as required.

• To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the hotel.

• To be flexible in your job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you, including redeployment to other departments/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.

• To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.
