• Responsible for achieving an underwriting profit at the local level;

• Prepare, monitor, develop and evaluate local underwriting policy and procedure;

• Make a decision to accept, modify or reject an insurance application after scrutiny of all the required documents and studies regarding the risk involved;

• Regular evaluation the structure of the department and plan for continuous improvement;

• oversee a team of associate-level staff members, assigning insurance plans to assess and underwrite ensuring

that they understand expectations and delivery timelines, and stepping in to provide support;

• Collect appropriate and accurate information required to assess potential clients and decide on the acceptable

risk for a policy;

• Compare various policies having similar risk undertaking and conduct actuarial studies to decide on the

company’s loss records;

• Conduct insurance quality control audits and prepare monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reports;

• Other tasks assigned by upper management team.

• Master/ bachelor degree of business administration, finance or accounting;

• Possess underwriting experience at least 10 years;

• Must have insurance knowledge;

• Management understanding and involvement are required;

• Creative and intelligent to work under pressure;

• Excellent English usage.
