A Shift Supervisor provides assistance to the Asst. Manager. In the absence of AM, the Shift Supervisor oversees all table games and overall casino operations. Primary duties include: managing team members, resolving issues, communicating with other department (B2B, IT, HR) and all levels of management. A Shift Supervisor also ensures that all team members comply with company standards. During staff shortages, Shift Supervisor monitors and informs the management so as to fill the positions as needed. As Shift Supervisor during a designated shift, she must possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills needed to control the operation of the gaming establishment. She must exhibit a courteous and professional attitude at all times. Additionally, she should possess effective interpersonal communication skills and must be willing and able to work on different shifts especially during night, weekends, and holidays. ** WORK ACTIVITIES (KRA & KPI) KRA 1. Shift Management - Conducts daily briefings and monthly meetings to keep the casino personnel abreast of all developments and monthly performances. - Implements and communicates house rules, company policies, and standard operating procedures. - Coaches and mentors staff and assesses staff’s gaming performance - Ensures that gaming tables are adequately staffed for each shift, arranges staff rotations and breaks, and finds substitute employees as necessary. - Monitors and approves leaves, OT, Night Differential, Holiday and Rest day application in 8th Manage System. - Issues penalties to employees and update records - Serves screenshots, incident reports, NTE and disciplinary actions. - Assists Pit bosses as necessary. - Ensures safety & security of staff on shift while on duty. - Disciplines staff on Pantry and Dressing Room Issues. - Guides and provides directions to staff on their daily tasks. - Motivates & inspires casino personnel - Encourages team to work collaboratively in achieving the team’s business goals KRA 3. Quality Check: - Ensures SOP are strictly followed inside gaming studio. - Addresses and resolves mistakes and acknowledges settlement before applying it on the table. - Ensures all issues are properly coordinated to Quality Assurance Team. - Provides immediate and effective response to gaming issues. - Reviews daily accomplishment report Staff. KRA 4. Communication: - Escalates issues & concerns with the management or concerning department to minimize adverse impact of the problem to business continuity. - Establishes a good and professional working relationship with team members and other teams - Attends to all emails on a timely manner. KRA 5. Performance Management - Performs fair and just performance rating to staff - Provides feedback on the result of Performance Evaluation and as needed - Proposes training programs to improve competency of staff KRA 6. Inventory - Conducts inventory and physical count of uniforms, cards and make up every shift - Checks supplies and ensures that the operations have adequate stocks taking into consideration the time it will take for supplies to be delivered - Ensures that all gaming equipment are available and functioning properly. - Responsible for requesting the supplies needed for the Operations/Team. KRA 7. Reports - Sends/Updates daily report to the Assistant Operations Manager. - Group Mistake Tracking - Roster - Shift Endorsement - Performance Bonus - Comparative Report - Reports incident and unsafe work conditions to Immediate Superior. - Prepares and submits deemed/required paper works or documentations and assigned duties by Assistant Operations Manager from time to time. - Performs related analysis and review reports for any good changes of pit/operations. Other Duties - Submits reports as required and as needed by his/her superior and/or by top management. - Attends regular meetings conducted by superiors. - Complies with the following: - Company Rules and Regulations. - Department’s Policies, Guidelines and Procedures. - Performs other job-related tasks as may be directed by superior and key officers from time to time.
