Jobs Description

 Maintaining records of all customer owed.  Keeping track of customers owed  Checking and managing sale daily report in Quickbook  Locating and contacting debtors to inquire of their payment status  Investigate and resolve the problems with difficulty customers  Update account status and database regularly  Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary  Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable  Checking and monitoring with customer payment irregularly to company carefully  Manage customer accounts through early identification of financial distress by proactive customer contact.  Successfully influence the outcome for both the customer and company, limiting the escalation of arrears to litigation, with a satisfactory customer outcome.  Through case management, build and maintain the customer relationship for all customers in arrears building a financial profile whilst gathering information from the customer in order to negotiate a sustainable payment plan.  Confidently manage arrears calls, fully discussing customers’ circumstances in order to find solutions, in line with the Society’s Arrears Policy.  Provide support to Arrears and Collections Team as necessary.  Ensure compliance to policy and procedures, thus minimising conduct risk exposure.  Assist with the testing of any new software releases.  Help embed change including new processes, procedures and systems updates and to provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.  Other tasks will be assigned by line manager

Jobs Requirement

 Bachelor degree or Master degree of banking or Accounting  Working knowledge of MS Office and databases  Knowledge of relevant legal requirements  Proven experience as debt collector  4 to 5 years experiences in debt collector or in banking sector  Excellent communication and people skills  Good at negotiating and persuading  Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
