• Check incoming fruit shipments against rejection criteria • Check incoming loads of packaging materials • Check final loads prior to shipment for export • Review procedures that have an impact on product quality • Rejecting, holding or isolating fruit that does not meet standards of quality and safety • Recommending suppliers of input material for the packing facility • Protecting fruit and materials from spoilage and deterioration • Provide guidance on fruit/inputs quality to suppliers, farmers and other trade partners • Training the workers/team on quality standards • Reviewing and maintaining quality control records and other records relevant to quality control; preparation of related reports for management • Reports directly to management.

• Critical thinker, confident decision maker and problem-solver • Strong attention to detail is required • College degree preferred in a field relating to Agriculture, Post-harvest • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply • Good command of English is preferred
