• Have dual responsibility to underwrite/support the risk assessment of applications and to act in a leadership role for underwriters • Analyze and assess background information in order to effectively assess the risk involved • Evaluate possible risk and decide how the company could accept individuals or organizations with the appropriate terms and conditions. • Manage the exclusions insurance proposals to ensure that conditions offered are competitive and that policy and/or the accounts remain profitable • Negotiate terms with policyholders/ key customers and draw up contracts • Analyze the risks profiles and exclusions and to propose and execute the initiatives of underwriting guidelines and protocol for profitable portfolio • Manage the team productivity report to senior management • Maintains a strong working relationship with all kinds of the sales team • Underwrite the insurance applications according to company underwriting guidelines • Handle customer enquiries related to the submitted applications in a professional manner • Manage underwriting related projects perform all other duties as requested or assigned • Prepare contracts and all necessary documents for the Insured including contract production • Study technical results by group including claim analysis and customers support service and produce renewal reports preparation • Communicate and discuss with sales team conditions of renewal of the contract

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, finance, or equivalent degree • At least 4 years of proven professional experience as underwriter with any insurance company • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good planning/time management skill • Excellent Verbal and Written Skills both in Khmer and English • Good Computer skill
