Jobs Description

- Manages the operation of a store unit, include purchasing of supplies and books, special orders, logistics coordination, and return of overstocked or defective merchandise. - Monitors par level of inventory and processes PR and PO in a timely manner. - Monitors the inventory to ensure the goods are being sold in FIFO method - Supervises personnel which typically includes recommendations for hiring,   performance evaluation, promotion, training, work allocation, and problem resolution. - Supervises staff and cashier functions and provide customer service - Supervises store opening and closing procedures on a daily basis, complete daily closeout process of cash registers and prepare daily bank deposit. - Attends training on merchandise and POS system, and provides training to staff to ensure they excel the software - Oversees the visualization of the bookstore, display of books, art & craft, stationery. - Oversees and coordinates the payment of invoices and freight bills on blanket purchase orders, small purchase orders, and check requests. - Prepares and administers the bookstore budget; recommends, implements, and administers operating policies and procedures. - Works with faculty and vendors to acquire and assure availability of new textbooks and class supplies for students and office supplies - Oversees maintenance of stock, displays, signs, and inventory control; manages year-end inventory utilizing computer to check for theft and shrinkage. - Develops and implements systems and processes to establish and maintain records for the operating unit. - Maintains updates of new supplies/brands of school and office supplies, art and craft materials, sourcing for suppliers and introduce new products. - Conducts weekly meeting with relevant HODs and staff to give updates, consolidate feedbacks, and/or raise any arising issues. - Represents the organization at various community and/or business meetings, committees, and task forces; promotes existing and new programs and/or policies. - Performs other tasks assigned by Management.

Jobs Requirement

- At least 3 years of experiences in Bookstore Management - Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. - Positive Attitude and self-motivated personality - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Goal and achievement driven - Clear ability to drive team members to reach their highest potential - Good written and verbal communication skills - Good analytical and computer skills - Fluent in both written and spoken of Khmer and English Language, Chinese is an advantage.
