Jobs Description

Make journal entries for year-end close including bank reconciliation
Analyze current and prior year General Ledger, Cash book, Journal
Playing a key part in meeting IRS due dates and other deadlines by preparing corporate and personal income tax returns
Helping mentor, train, guide, and instruct lower level staff/interns
Prepare and review sales/use, fuel excise and property tax returns
Support external advisors with foreign VAT and GST compliance
Prepare tax budgets and forecasts
Prepare and review tax accruals and analysis/reconciliation of general ledger tax accounts
Meet deadlines, including filing due dates and monthly financial reporting
Coordinate and assist with audits by tax authorities and internal/external financial audits

Jobs Requirement

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Caseware, depreciation processing software, Tax preparation software (ProSystems), Tax research software (RIA), and Go File Room is strongly desired
Demonstrates accountability and aspiration to deliver results
Makes well balanced decision
Has appropriate time management and prioritizing skills
Holds strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
