Jobs Description

1. Ensure school student enrolment is conducted strictly in accordance with the school recruitment

policies and standards.

2. Develop and implement strategic admission plans designed to achieve school’s enrolment target.

These plans must be based on solid market analysis and aligned with the marketing and promotion

activities of the Group Marketing Department and School local partners.

3. Be directly responsible for the entire admissions process end-to-end including but not limited:

  • Promote the school and enrol students through different channels
  • Coordinate school’s tours/visits
  • Coordinate trial days and demos
  • Liaise with parents on admission enquiries
  • Facilitate parent meeting with school staffs - ensures an enquiry proforma is completed
  • Coordinate student application and placement testing for prospective students
  • Field all enquiries that are made to the admissions’ office. Maintain a completed and accurate
  • record of parent/student details and a funnel of all prospective new student intake in the school
  • management system.

5. To work closely with local marketing team and local partners teams:

  • To ensure that their activities are aligned and in support of each other to achieve the school’s
  • enrolment target.
  • Ensure that appropriate documentation and information on all aspects of the school are
  • current and readily available.
  • Ensure that outcome of school visits and observed current market trends are shared and used
  • to formulate and fine tune our marketing and admissions activities.

6. Provide regular update and data analysis on admission status to the SLT.

7. Develop and implement customer relationship plans to cultivate parents’ loyalty and maintain

positive engagement

Branding and enrolment

  • To cooperate with local marketing team to market the school to appropriate target markets for
  • recruitment of students as well holiday programmes for both onsite and offsite.

Networking

  • To visit high-end compounds, early education centres and other strategic partners to market and
  • promote school to the business community.

Communication with parents of enrolled students

  • To introduce parents to academic contacts within the school
  • To introduce parents to the Friends of Harrow support community
  • To support parents in their transition into the school from offer acceptance to natural communication
  • with academic teams and participation in the FoH

Budget

  • To plan annual and termly budget for both the admissions.
  • To monitor expenditure in relation to budget.
  • Development of Community liaison
  • To be responsible for the development of community liaison, including but not limited to parents’ liaison and
  • local connection development for extended curriculum.

Others

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Travel maybe required upon request.

Jobs Requirement

  • Minimum bachelor's degree, ideally in marketing and / or education related field.
  • High level of English skills is essential.
  • 8 years working experience, experience in education industry is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in leading Admissions team in international school/bilingual school is essential.
  • Marketing/sales experience is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of the international school market in China and Haikou, as well as British education system is essential.
  • Outstanding time management and problem-solving skills, result driven, strategic and attention to details.
  • Able to meet deadlines, pro-active, creative, dynamic and can handle work under pressure.
  • Good communication, presentation, leadership, people and project management skills.
