Jobs Description

• Reads through or listens to material in one language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language, making

sure to preserve the original meaning.

• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.

• Consults with subject matter experts and end users to understand specialized

concepts and translate them appropriately.

• Refers to specialist online translation tools for additional assistance with translation.

• Provides end users with translation estimates based on project length and level of

complexity.

• Follows up with end users to ensure satisfaction and understanding of translation

provided.

• Uses highly specialized translation software to encourage efficiency and consistency.

• Edit content with an eye toward maintaining RNS document standards (e.g. font and

structure)

• Adheres to industry quality standards to ensure that all completed work follows legal

and ethical obligations.

• Translates a variety of documents including legal, technical, scientific, educational, and commercial materials.


* Administration Functions

• Attend training in administrative practices and procedures or other courses as

directed.

• Adhere to all regulatory requirements for environmental performance.

• Ensure company policies, processes and procedures are complied with.

• Assist in the procure of goods and materials in accordance with operational

requirements as per RNS policies and procedures and the RNS code of ethics.

• Prepare request for proposal and request for quotes (RFP/RFQ) evaluations and

contract award recommendations where applicable.

• Identify potential savings opportunities and take appropriate action. Explore these

ideas and complete feasibility study for the potential cost saving.

• Maintain a record of cost savings made through the competitive procurement of

goods and services.

• Meet with end user departments on a weekly basis to understand current and future

administrative requirements and issues.

• Assist in the tracking of all requisitions and purchase orders from placement to delivery and receipt.

• Work with Logistics and Expediting Officers to ensure timely deliveries.

• Assist in the updating all orders within the Company's ERP system.

• Ensure that invoices are processed in accordance with procedure.

• Maintain professional records of purchase requisitions and orders.

• Provide information and reports as required.

• File all paperwork in accordance with Commercial policies.

• Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal

customers and external suppliers.

Jobs Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

• Good working familiarity with Microsoft Office.

• Good interpersonal and Communication skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team or alone unsupervised.
