The incumbent will perform the daily operations in Accounts Payable functions which include the followings:

• Handle the update/processing of supplier invoices, ensuring that the records are correct and updated on a timely basis

• Performing monthly and ad hoc payment runs

• Act as the liaison officer in handling any vendors’ queries

• Reconciliations between Creditors Statement of Accounts and AP sub-ledger and investigation of any discrepancies noted in the process.

• Assist in preparation of the VAT tax reports

• Assist with preparation of the monthly balance sheet schedules

• Update and maintenance of the fixed assets register.

• Degree in accountancy or equivalent professional qualification

• Preferably 2 years of related experience in similar position in the hospitality industry

• Meticulous with numbers and details

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
