Jobs Description

Duties & Responsibilities: - Control daily expense transactions and purchase requests of other departments; - Check and review of Purchase Orders in terms of prices, quality, delivery and terms and conditions; - Maintain the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all company transactions; review entries to the general and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the company’s and established accounting principles; control all changes to chart of accounts; - Be responsible for maintaining computerized accounting system, backup control, assisting other accounting staff with questions, and printing computer generated reports and statements; implement, modify, and document recordkeeping; responsible for monthly and year-end closing of the general ledger including preparation of journal entries; - Administer preparations of interim, year-end and comparative financial reports; performs and provides analysis of current results to prior periods and/or budget; prepare required government reports as directed by the controller and respond to inquiries as necessary; - Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards; - Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts; verifies accuracy of bank statements and resolve the questions or problems; maintains integrity of cash balances and cash flow system; - Be responsible for review and preparation of payroll records and processing of payroll; - Maintain fixed asset records and control; determinate depreciation terms/rates to apply to capitalize items; prepares property tax returns for review by Controller; - Maintain other accounts and performs other accounting duties, as required or requested by the Controller and/or Chief Finance Officer (CFO);

Jobs Requirement

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting; - At least 5-year experiences in Accounting Management; - Experience in accounting work for construction business is advantage; - MS Word and Excel, Accounting Software (Peachtree, QuickBooks…etc.); - Teamwork-and-result oriented; - Be able to travel and work at the site as scheduled in Kandal province; Interested applicants are invited to submit their CV along with covering letter, stating expected salary to hr@phnompenhland.com.kh or submit directly to #14, Street 548, Sangkat Boeng Kak I, Khan Toulkork, Phnom Penh, Cambodia before 31 August 2019.
