  • In carrying out these responsibilities, the Communications and Policy Manager is expected to propose new communication initiatives, develop medium-term and annual communication plans, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities to enhance PanNature’s influence in professional and policy discussions.

Manage content and communication products

  • The Communications and Policy Manager is responsible for guiding and ensuring the quality of PanNature’s communication products and publications. This includes editing, reviewing, and finalizing content such as research reports, thematic articles, policy analyses, communication materials, newsletters, website content, and digital media products.
  • The position ensures that published content is scientifically accurate, well-structured, and consistent with PanNature’s messaging. Additionally, the role involves translating technical or research-based content into accessible and understandable information for the public, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders.

Monitor, analyze, and contribute to policy processes

  • The Communications and Policy Manager is responsible for monitoring policies, strategies, and legal documents related to nature conservation, biodiversity, natural resource management, and sustainable development. Based on this, the position synthesizes and analyzes key policy information to support the Board of Directors and program teams in identifying priority policy issues.
  • The role also collaborates with experts and program teams to develop policy analyses, compile information, prepare technical recommendations, and support organizational leadership in participating in policy dialogues. In some cases, the position may represent or support PanNature at workshops, conferences, or policy forums at both national and international levels.

Manage communication channels and organizational branding

  • The Communications and Policy Manager coordinates the operation of PanNature’s main communication channels, including websites, social media platforms, and publications. This includes developing both long-term and short-term content plans and ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and communication style.
  • Additionally, the role promotes the development of multimedia communication formats to enhance the accessibility of scientific information and conservation stories from the field. These efforts help strengthen PanNature’s visibility and disseminate conservation messages to diverse audiences.

Manage and develop the communications–policy team
