Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing local and international shipments of both seeds and non-seed items. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders within East West Seed Myanmar and other EWS sister companies. The primary objective is to guarantee the on-time delivery of goods while adhering to regulatory standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Act as a bridge among consigners, consignees, and shipping agents/forwarders to facilitate efficient shipment processes by fostering effective collaboration.

- Prepare essential shipping documents for both import and export activities, playing a pivotal role in ensuring customs clearance and legal adherence.

- Navigate government regulations, securing necessary documents from relevant government offices to ensure regulatory compliance in import and export activities.

- Coordinate crucial clearing and forwarding processes for both inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely processing and delivery.

- Maintain accurate oversight of shipments, actively track progress, and provide regular updates to the Logistics Supervisor, ensuring smooth logistics operations.

- Prepare precise expense and freight cost claims associated with shipments, requiring meticulous record-keeping and cross-departmental communication.

- Identify potential responsibilities that can be smoothly transitioned to the Log Admin role for optimized operational efficiency. - Other ad hoc assignments related to logistics given by the management.

Requirement

1. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a logistic diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experiences in the logistic field, especially in the shipping industry, helps in making smart decisions and carrying out tasks successfully.
3. Good level of business english in spoken and written
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferably the working knowledge of Google Suite
5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
6. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Able to work smoothly with a diverse group of people.
8. Able to manage priorities in the fast-paced logistics sector
9. Willing to learn and to adapt to new challenges fits well with the always-changing nature of logistics.
