1. Supervision of Maintenance Activities:

-Oversee the daily activities of maintenance staff, including mechanics, technicians, and

other maintenance personnel.

-Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repairs.

-Monitor and ensure the quality of work performed by maintenance staff.

2. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:

-Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment

downtime.

-Coordinate maintenance activities with port operations to avoid disruptions.

-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment

history, and maintenance logs.

3. Troubleshooting and Repairs:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with port equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and

conveyor systems.

- Supervise and participate in the repair and replacement of faulty components.

- Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

4. Inventory and Spare Parts Management:

-Maintain an inventory of necessary spare parts and maintenance supplies.

-Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of parts and supplies.

-Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.

5. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and port policies.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of equipment and maintenance practices.

- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

6.Staff Training and Development:

-Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper maintenance techniques and safety

procedures.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.

- Identify and address training needs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

7. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and equipment performance.

- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance maintenance efficiency.

- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

8.Budget and Cost Management:

- Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget.

- Monitor maintenance expenses and implement cost-saving measures.

- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance.

-Languages:

- Fluent in at least 1 of the following; KHMER, ENGLISH, CHINESE Additionally

languages or fluency in all 3 are major plus points.

- Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably within the port or maritime industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Experience with the maintenance and repair of port

- specific equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and conveyor systems is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies:
