• Leads and oversees all activities of Product Development Team (PDT) in ensuring proper execution and management of new product innovation (NPI), modification to existing products, changes to asset base of products, technology, and processes. Additionally, plays a leading role in the optimization of product management systems and processes.

• Supervises Product Team personnel and ensures accurate execution of duties. Acts as a mentor to key talents to

encourage their professional growth, and to ready them for the succession of higher positions in the future.

• Develops and implement product strategy and plan. Monitors and evaluates product performance to propose improvement plans and execution. Handles end-to-end product management and launches efficiently and timely, based on the budget given.

• Facilitates and is the custodian of product development processes of making new tour packages, different types of tour programs, and local destination packages, assembling various travel components into final products and formulating new tour itineraries for sales and marketing teams to market with compelling propositions and competitive cost advantages to meet customized requests and expectation of customers.

• Evaluates and analyses market dynamics, key competitors’ products performances in order to provide recommendations and solutions to further enhance own product performance. This includes a detailed understanding of customer behavior, utilizing the various tools available to assist in implementing strategy.

• Manages Product Development budget, processes and produces product performance and management reports in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.

• Works with various departments to manage and be the custodian of “Product Knowledge Room” to ensure up to date detail information of tour products, costing [tour cost calculation] and pricing [tour fare], destinations details, destination products, modes of travel, accommodation and foods, sightseeing, immigration, health and security rules about various permits required to travel, other optional tours and all other available options, tour leader brief, tour leader standard talk; and shares regularly and timely with relevant team members and cross departments to obtain superior product and service performance

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferably Tourism and Hospitality Management. The equivalent of the

same in practical experience is also acceptable.

- At least 3 years of working experience in relevant fields The candidate will also be better suited with experience in travel industry.

- Possess good computer skill, being proficient in Digital Social Apps, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook, and PowerPoint, which will all be necessary for the effective performance of the creation of reports, proposals and recommendations.
