- Greet and escort customers to their table - Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. portions, ingredients or potential food allergies) - Check and make sure the stationary have enough equipment for the whole operation - Inform customers about the day’s specials - Offer menu recommendation upon request - Up-sell additional products when appropriate - Communicate order details to kitchen staff - Serve food and drink orders and bring them to correct table - Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
