- Manage purchasing activities primary in engagement of supplier - Liaison with suppliers to determine purchasing requirements, specifications, availability of material - Coordinate the delivery of goods through suppliers to ensure they arrive on site according to schedule - Ensure to inform of any issues or delays relating to procurement and supply of goods - Generate & process Purchase Order - Negotiate price and follow up them by mail or phone - Track the delivery of purchases - Find new vendors for better quality as well as better prices - Administrative duties e.g. maintaining purchasing database of suppliers & other purchasing documents - Support periodical reporting by tracking & monitoring historical purchasing activities - Other tasks assignments by direct supervisor
