Prepare yearly budget, business plan and rolling forecast in collaboration with the management Prepare and issue timely monthly financial reports to Country and Group stakeholders Analyse the monthly financial reports and the deviations on budget Implement, review & adjust as deemed required, Project budget preparation process; Ensure the Project Budgets are coherent; Ensure costs are properly captured and allocated Prepare Project profitability reports, analyse margins, trends and cost to completion and compare with the approved Project Budget Ensure Project budget reviews are regularly conducted: analysis of variances, cost to complete, project margin, provision for loss at completion if necessary Challenge the teams on their forecast to ensure their reliability Provide an overview and analysis of the performance of the departments / company with an appropriate set of KPIs, Monitor their performance, alert their management on issues and suggest improvements Provide strategic analysis of figures (on reports, budgets, variances, KPIs…) to managers / directors, and recommend remedial actions or improvements to address inconsistencies or under performance Follow up and monitor the progress and effects of remedial actions; Review and adapt systems, policies, processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances and strengthen internal controls Recommend changes that will improve the company's financial performance and financial controls Propose alternate solutions to identified issues, deficiencies or inconsistencies Support operations in understanding their strength and weaknesses, their opportunities for improvements Evaluate ROI on investment projects

Bachelor’s degree majoring in finance or accounting from reputable university A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within a multinational organization Excellent analytical skills with a high level attention to detail in order to review and critically analyse reporting and identify/correct discrepancies Soft skills to become a real business partner of our directors and managers Excellent strategic abilities with the ability to review accounting and financial reporting and make recommendations to the Directors of the organization regarding the financial position of the organization/ office/ project. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to be hands-on in training staff on business accounting principles Excellent working knowledge of business accounting principles and business compliance Previous experience in managing a small financial team, demonstrating leadership expertise and the ability to train others to follow accounting principles, and to implement continuous improvement strategies to increase accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and auditing Excellent English language skills are a pre-requisite for this position Good knowledge of accounting software applications
