Overall Purpose Of The Job

Raffles Medical Cambodia are looking for a Chinese speaking doctor to provide Fee For Service consultations at their clinic in Phnom Penh to provide competent, patient-centered care that addresses health needs and promotes wellness. Such care is based on latest evidence and guidelines and meets legislator requirements. Also, to provide peer support to other doctors of the same practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to patients

- Order diagnostic tests as needed, check and follow up the results in a timely manner

- Administer and prescribe treatment and drugs effectively

- Refer patients appropriately, in consultation with Supervisor, to other healthcare providers if their needs exceed the range of care the Clinic can provide

- Consult, collaborate and work constructively and harmoniously with colleagues to provide optimal care

- Document all care provided and education or information given to patients within their medical health record, as per professional and practice standards

- Participate in annual performance appraisal and set work and personal goals for the upcoming year

- Maintain a working knowledge of legislation that affects medical practices

- Provide services courteously and respectfully with regard to the cultural beliefs and needs of patients

- Respond openly to complaints or feedback

- Declare vested interests in services that you may be referring to

- Demonstrate a working knowledge of company policy with regard to clinic practices as described in Standard Operating Procedures and Policies

- Report incidents as required

- Protect and maintain the confidentiality of medical information or records of patients
