Jobs Description

• Review all Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring and verification records to ensure compliance with HACCP critical limits and frequencies, as required by the plan.

• Review and evaluate all records for accuracy and completeness and determine need for process improvement. Review dates and procedural changes as they may occur to identify areas that require documentation review, updates, or improvement. Work with the company’s management to identify appropriate wording and documentation updates and standardize formats as much as possible.

• Update plan as directed and track documentation changes relative to program policies, SOP’s, and HACCP program for all facilities. Develop and implement training plans along with testing/assessment methods and deliver in a standardized approach, the training program for employees at each facility. The subject matter includes but is not limited to quality assurance, sanitation and HACCP.

• Ensure that the company’s HACCP program is developed, implemented, maintained, and reassessed in accordance with requirements.

• Ensure all the company’s accreditation and HACCP documents are controlled and that current versions are in use.

• Frequency of the training programs to be determined by program requirements and arranged in coordination with the company’s management.

• Conduct internal audits of HACCP program and reassessment as per HACCP program requirements and frequency at the factory. Document findings, report to the company’s management with corrective action requests and conduct follow up as required.

• In coordination with Senior Manager, ensure complete follow-up of any deviation.

• Attend and participate in audits and ensure complete follow-up of any deviations identified in coordination with Senior Manager.

• Communicate with and report regularly to Senior Manager as appropriate. Assist in clerical or information research role as requested. Schedule, conduct, and document HACCP team meetings as required by HACCP program for the factory.

• Attend approved industry regulatory, technical, or educational events to keep updated on current information.

• Policies, Processes & Procedures

o Adhere/comply with company policies and procedures.

o Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

o Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of improved department specific processes, policies, and procedures.

o Recommend, develop, and implement enhancements and improvements to departmental policies and procedures.

Jobs Requirement

• Minimum three years of experience required; working in HACCP role

• Experience in Agriculture preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks

• Working knowledge of food plant regulatory standards, GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.;

• Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Good computer skills (e.g. MS Office)
