Responsibilities:

-         Provide inhouse legal advice including drafting inhouse legal advice, drafting and reviewing agreement, and other corporate documents; negotiate agreement, perform legal due and diligence on equity investment, and draft legal due and diligence report to the Company and/or its subsidiaries;

-         Do legal research and produce legal advice on new company’s product/product development;

-         Keep updated about new laws and regulations, legal practice change, and legal news applicable to the company;

-         Assist with the review of policies and procedures of the Company/its subsidiaries, to ensure their legal and regulatory compliance;

-         Ensure that all company’s policies and related documents are properly complied with and archived;

-         Ensure compliance of the Company with and/or its subsidiary with regulatory reporting and/or prudential obligations;

-         Build up and maintain smooth communications with licensing and other regulatory authorities;

-         Coordinate and maintain good working relationship with external law firm, trustee, other partnering entities;

-         Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members;

-         Develop template, working tools, workflow to effectively apply to daily assignments of compliance department;

-        Other substantive administrative tasks as assigned from time to time by supervisor.

Requirement:

-         At least Bachelor’s degree in law or related field;

-         At least 2 years working experience in legal service, with experiences from corporate law firm being a bonus;

-         Good interpersonal and communication skills;

-         Integrity and self-motivated;

-         Good in English and Khmer in both oral and writing communications;

-         Proficiency in Ms office.
