-Required to understand/interpret design specifications. -Required to convert design specifications to workable units of code using programming languages. -Required to perform testing of codes developed using standard methodology like test cases. -Required to have basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and practitioner of security-by-design methodology. -Required to perform code reviews of co-developers and possess ability to identify issues/gaps against the design specifications. -Required to manage software configuration Item (e.g. documentation & source codes) -Required to understand applications and its integration across applications at the technical level. -Required to follow standard processes/guidelines laid down by internal IT processes. -Required to support enhancements, existing and new applications integration when required. -Required to support Production issues when required. -To assist in resolving audit or penetration test issues within resolution deadlines.

-Diploma or degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science -3 years of experience in software engineering; -Should have completed at least 1-3 software development life cycles; -Broad knowledge and experience in open source frameworks and platforms. -Experience in using Microservices, CI & TDD -Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects -Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools, comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment -Certification in one or more software development platforms is desirable. -Good to have working experience in a system integrator and/or consulting environment and engaged clients
