In the role of general manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day management of a mixed-use residential-hotel-commercial center and its staff. You would have commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house (reception, concierge, reservations), food and beverage operations, and housekeeping. You will also be responsible for marketing available units to clients and must have sales experience or skill. You must also be available at all times (on-call) 24-hours a day to answer calls relating to emergencies or urgent guest concerns that the on-site staff could not handle on their own after hours. You will also be required to perform Property Management tasks including preventative and active maintenance planning and budgeting related to maintaining the surroundings and interiors of the property, the attraction, retention and signing on of new commercial tenants, assist in the collection of overdue accounts, the notification of violations of tenants, among other things.
