• Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility. • Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible. • Preplan production and deploy a daily prioritized work schedule to the shop floor with appropriate time deadline targets. • Adjust the production schedule as required and communicate any change to delivery date with the customer accordingly. • Monitor & review manufacturing operations to ensure correct quality standards. • Ensure that finished product is well packaged, labeled and delivered according to the agreed delivery date. • Coordinate the hiring and training of all manufacturing personnel. • Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality. • Ensure that all production related activity is time and cost efficient / effective • Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained & repaired. • Ensure production/quality processes, equipment being used and the • Working environments are all conducive to producing a high quality product / service. • Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety Manager to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees. • Promote & maintain awareness and compliance of H&S in accordance with best practice and legal requirement. • Ensure rejected product / nonconformance is rectified as high priority and that customers are kept informed accordingly. • Ensure the correct nonconformance paperwork is raised and processed with every reject. • Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets. • Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations employees. • Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals. • Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity. • Establish goals and objectives for self and team and implement accordingly to help support / improve job performance (experience, ability, competence) • Be aware of and promote manufacturing best practice and performance standards. • Address any staff discipline or grievance issue, maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures. • Ensure non value added activity is reduced in all manufacturing processes by using lean/ kaizan tools and techniques.

• Minimum of 5+ years of operational experience: ideally has worked in a similar or related field • Skill should include organizational development, personnel management, resource development and strategic planning • Excellent people skills with ability to partner with different stakeholders and dynamic team members/leaders • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to vision, mission, value and operating philosophy of BRICo • Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solution; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people, process and system.
