• Complete quantity take-off and cost estimation template for the

assigned project within established timeline with accurate quantity

and market price.

• Assessment of variation orders by verifying quantities and rates

to be correct as per the contract within established timelines

• Verify actual work completed at site in order to facilitate contractor

payments.

• Prepare tender documents and lead tender process.

• Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) for procurement to sourcing

the materials for approval.

• Compile monthly cost report assigned project from estimate

through final account settlements for review.

• Other tasks assigned by QS Manager or Project Manager

•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or related

field

• At least 3 to 5 years' experience in similar role

Competencies (Technical & Soft Skill)

• Ability to work under pressure and time constraint.

• Ability to identify and escalate problems to line manager and execute

solution.

• Ability to accurately interpret architectural, structural and MEP

drawings to determine quantities and cost.

• Ability to create detailed Bills of Quantities that itemize all the

materials and labor required for a project, along with the quantity

and prices.

• Good in analytical and mathematical skills.

• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and

documentation

• Proficient at AUTOCAD and Excel and other QS programs

• Ability to understand construction sequence and progress

• Ability to travel to site as required
