-Monitor port performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

-Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.

-Oversee the implementation of safety and security protocols to protect personnel, cargo, and equipment.

6.Budgeting and Financial Management:

-Assist in the preparation and management of the operational budget.

-Monitor expenditures and optimize resource allocation to stay within budgetary constraints.

-Generate reports on operational performance and financial status.

-Promote the use of technology and automation to improve port operations.

-Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions.

-Oversee the implementation of new systems and technologies.

8.Crisis Management:

-Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.

-Coordinate and lead response efforts during emergencies and disruptions.

-Ensure business continuity and recovery plans are in place.
