1. Supervision of Cargo Handling Operations:

- Oversee the daily activities of cargo handling teams, including longshoremen, equipment operators, and warehouse staff.

- Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo from vessels, trucks, and

railcars.

- Monitor cargo handling processes to ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety regulations.

2. Staff Management:

- Schedule and assign tasks to cargo handling personnel based on operational needs.

- Conduct training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about proper cargo handling techniques and safety protocols.

- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary.

3. Coordination and Communication:

-Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, and

other stakeholders to coordinate cargo handling activities.

-Communicate operational plans, schedules, and any changes to the relevant parties.

-Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during cargo operations.

4.Operational Efficiency:

- Monitor cargo handling equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

- mplement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency

and productivity.

-Track cargo movement and storage to ensure optimal use of terminal space and

resources.

5.Safety and Compliance:

- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and standards to prevent accidents and

injuries.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of cargo handling operations and

equipment.

- Report any safety incidents or violations and take corrective action as needed.

6.Record Keeping and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of cargo handling activities, including

load/unload times, equipment usage, and staff hours.

- Prepare and submit reports on operational performance, safety

incidents, and equipment status.

- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

7.Customer Service:

-Ensure timely and accurate handling of cargo to meet customer requirements.

-Address customer inquiries and complaints regarding cargo handling operations.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

- Languages:

- Fluent in at least 2 of the following; KHMER, ENGLISH, CHINESE Additionally languages or

fluecy in all 3 are major plus points.

- Experience:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cargo handling, logistics, or

port operations.

- Supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred
