1. Operational Management:

- Oversee daily terminal operations, including cargo handling, vessel berthing, and yard management.

- Ensure the timely and efficient loading, unloading, and storage of cargo.

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline terminal

operations.

2.Staff Management:

- Supervise, train, and evaluate terminal staff, including longshoremen,

equipment operators, and administrative personnel.

- Develop work schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet

operational demands.

- Promote a safe and productive work environment through regular training and team-buil

ing activities.

3.Coordination and Communication:

- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and

other stakeholders to coordinate terminal activities.

- Maintain effective communication with internal departments such as logistics,

maintenance, and security.

4.Efficiency and Productivity:

- Monitor terminal performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for

improvement.

- Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance productivity.

- Ensure optimal utilization of terminal facilities and equipment

5.Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.

- Oversee the implementation of safety and security protocols to protect personnel, cargo, and equipment.

- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, and address any identified issues.

6.Financial Management:

- Assist in the preparation and management of the terminal’s budget.

- Monitor expenditures and optimize resource allocation to stay within

budgetary constraints.

- Generate reports on terminal performance and financial status.

7.Technology and Innovation:

- Promote the use of technology and automation to improve terminal operations.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions.

- Oversee the implementation of new systems and technologies.

8.Crisis Management:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.

- Coordinate and lead response efforts during emergencies and disruptions.

- Ensure business continuity and recovery plans are in place.

-Languages:

- Fluent in at least 2 of the following; KHMER, ENGLISH, CHINESE Additionally languages or

fluency in all 3 are major plus points.

-Experience:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in terminal operations, logistics, or the maritime

industry.

- Proven track record of managing operational teams and improving terminal efficiency is a plus point.
