INTERNAL/EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS:

Internal:

• Engineering manager

• Operation manager

• GM power

• Project manager

• Vendors/Suppliers

FUNTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design PLC/ Automation/ SCADA System for substations, water, and industrial sector.

• Perform engineering work for automation systems.

• Participate in tendering work for upcoming projects.

• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for tendering and potential projects as required.

• Deploy, testing and commissioning SCADA/Automation system on-site as per project requirement.

• Prepare testing and commissioning reports.

• Prepare as-build documents upon projects closing.

• Liase with different automation vendors during tender.

• Provide training on Automation/SCADA System to Clients.

• Other tasks will be assigned by manager.

Jobs Requirement

KNOWLEDGE RESPONSIBILIES:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in design of EHV substation minimum 115 kV voltage level.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

• Travel to sites locally as required by project to complete the task


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachler's in Electrical Engineering.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL:

1. Minimum of 4+ years of experience on site-work and design.

2. Experience of design and implementation of PLC based automation system is an advantage.

3. Proficiency on Automation Software/SCADA System or relevant software.

4. Strong Knowledge in Standard Automation, SCADA System (IEC 61850, 101, 104, Modbus, DLMS, …)

5. Good at verbal and writing in English.


DESIRABLE:

- Previous experience in working power projects especially in EHV substation (115kV and above).

- Experience with design on telecom systems will be an added advantage.
