1: Purpose of Job:

The incumbent will be responsible in Managing and maintaining the complete IT infrastructure (Systems admin, Network admin and the Data Center management) and basic Information Security along with heading the IT support division to ensure that pro-active IT support is delivered to the operation. In addition, this position will also provide guidance in the architecture of cloud platforms which will assist the ongoing operation.

2: Major Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee all aspects of the Data Center systems, networking, telecommunications, cloud operations and Disaster Recovery capabilities across a multi-location enterprise environment.

• Design, Implement, and manage the corporate network with high performance and an uptime of 99.998%

• Oversee daily system performance, repair, and preventative maintenance.

• Oversee the design and strategic plans to ensure capacity and future growth.

• Maintain high availability of critical infrastructure systems as needed.

• Manage external vendors for appropriate contracts and statements of work to ensure agreed upon service level agreements and deliverables.

• Ensure business has a solid backup and retention plan as well as a disaster recovery infrastructure capable of restoring business operations.

• Ensure best practices are implemented and followed.

• Maintains good working relationships with the internal business partners, IT team, and executive team.

• Ensures systems are documented and maintained to the highest standards.

• Keep current on IT trends and maintain evolving industry best practices.

• Track invoices and maintain spending accountability for the infrastructure budget.

• Coach, mentor, and develop the IT Infrastructure Team. Improve functionality, scalability, and maintainability of existing systems.

• Regular health check monitoring – Network/SAN/Servers/backup/ VM and other critical equipment

• Manage & configure network switches and access points including WLC (VLAN and trunking)

• Perform power verification, power cycling of equipment

• WAN optimization

• Azure and AWS resource management

• Designing, implementation and management of a Disaster Recovery site with minimum RPO and RTO

• Preparation and maintenance of Sysadmin documentation for all the configurations

• Firewall monitoring and management. (Including a policy for config changes)

• Enable smart alerting for all critical infrastructure points.

• Develop an IT critical incident system and log every incident with enabling responsibility.

• Support change requests and maintenance/ recovery activities including tracking, verification, and documentation

• Manage and maintain cloud-based systems and databases

3: Framework, Boundaries, Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:

• Business operations (finance/ sales)

• Technical (Backbone) relates work unless authorized.

• Customer IP handling and network monitoring unless requested

• Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in a similar role

• Hands on experience in Configuring and maintaining – development and production servers.

• Hands on experience in managing server virtualization (Openstack is a must along with VMWare)

• Hands on experience in maintaining and managing Active Directories (Hybrid), domain controllers, DNS, AAA, LDAP & Storage systems.

• Experience in maintaining and managing M365.

• Working knowledge of a storage area network (SAN) and various components, including but not limited to storage arrays, fiber channel switches and or iSCSI.

• Understanding of automated backup applications systems and backup hardware, including tape libraries

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Huawei cloud and Amazon web Services

• Experience in managing PBX systems

• Familiar with concepts and configuration on Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto firewalls, Extreme switches.

• Experience in setting up and managing Disaster Recovery sites with minimum RPO and RTO objectives

• Experience with web servers, databases (MS SQL, MySQL), automation/configuration management and version control systems (DevOps).

• Python scripting is a strong plus

• Expertise on supporting for Windows Server 2019 up and Linux servers to perform configuration and troubleshooting.

• Good working knowledge of IT and security governance, security operations and security technologies such as system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall, monitoring, and incident management.

• In-depth knowledge of IP and ASN management

• In-dept knowledge of Cloud architecture
