Jobs Description

• Manages all activities of Channel Sales team in ensuring proper execution of company plan to deliver objectives and sales targets.

• Supervises sales personnel and ensuring accurate execution of duties. Acts as a mentor to key talents to encourage their professional growth, and to ready them for the succession of higher positions in the future.

• Contributes in the development of overall sales programs in consistent with the customer trading agreements, policies and practices.

• Develops and manages sales and commission packages of all services and products for different types of resellers. Formulates detail trading terms and conditions to ensure commercial viability, profitability and customer compliancy.

• Develops and implements annual and seasonal channel sales strategy and plan. Monitors and evaluates cycle activities to propose improvement plan and execution.

• Develops and manages own and team sales call and customer visit plan to build better market understanding, strengthen trade relationship, update market intelligence, implement instore merchandising and display, carryout sales and instore promotional activities; and compliance audit on tourism operators’, tourism companies’ and agencies’ selling-out terms and conditions to consumer/traveller.

• Contributes in the development of POS, In-store merchandising, giveaway items and communication materials to increase brand exposure and enhance imagery in the channel.

• Plans and manages promotional events, trade shows, fares, conferences and other community events to build brand presence and customer acquisition through partnership and sponsorship.

• Conducts and regularly updates market researches and customer census and classification (CCC) to structurally understand the total market potential, channel and customer cluster demarcations, channel and cluster potential; and channel and cluster prioritizations for the development of channel strategy and plans.

• Monitors, evaluates and analyses market dynamics, sales performance by channel, by customer cluster and by key account in order to provide recommendations and solutions to further enhance Channel performance. This includes a detailed understanding of customer behavior, utilizing the various tools available to assist in implementing strategy.

• Optimizes existing growing channel and customer clusters; and continuously tests new campaigns to uncover untapped potential of the market.

• Manages Channel Sales budget processes and produces demand forecasting, sales reports, market intelligent reports in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.

• Establishes close working relationships with strategic partners – tourism operators, tourism company and agencies in order to gain high levels of supports and loyalty whilst enhancing understanding of the business environment and industry dynamics.

• Collaborates with relevant stakeholders in ensuring accurate representation of the company and maintenance high level of business integrity in the industry and ensure compliance with legislation and internal policy.

• Provides Market information and reports on performance to ensure that the Head of Sales, Leadership Team and relevant team members are fully informed at all times and take appropriate response actions on a timely basis.

• Keeps the team abreast of changes in the industry inclusive of legislations, regulations and ensures that all Sales transactions across the section are in legal compliance.

• Additionally, plays a leading role in the optimization of Channel Sales management systems and processes. Handles end to end projects efficiently and timely, based on the budget given.

Jobs Requirement

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably in Marketing.

The equivalent of the same in practical experience is also acceptable.


Experience:

At least 3 years of working experience in relevant fields

The candidate will also be better suited with experience in travel industry.


MS Office and Software:

Possess good computer skill, being proficient in Digital Social Apps, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook, and PowerPoint, which will all be necessary for the effective performance of the creation of reports, proposals and recommendations.
