+ Support with Identification of new products and services for soil- and water management and plant health

● By analyzing farmers’ needs and defining product specifications based on the needs

● By Identifying new partnerships with key players in the agricultural sector to be kept up to date on new products available on the market

● Collect relevant market information on high potential crops, water requirements, and nutrient requirements

● Develop holistic agronomy protocols for key crops on water, soil, and plant management including regenerative practices.

● Develop value propositions based on estimated yield potential and ROI potential for Agrosolar products and services

* Output:

Farm visits, survey reports, value chain analysis, product database, agronomy protocols, value propositions

- Support the implementation of demo-sites and field trials to test new products and services

● Design and support implementation of demo sites to test and demonstrate new products and services.

● Develop, run and monitor field trials on new products and services, by regular field visits, collection and analyzing field data, and present results to the sales and management team.

● Support the marketing and sales team with providing training to farmers on new products and services by demonstrating the usage, benefits and ROI.

* Output:

Products piloted, demo sites implemented, field trials carried out, implemented trainings, monthly monitoring reports

- Disseminate knowledge and information on new products and services within the organization and customers

● Translate field data from trials on demo-sites into farmer benefits for the sales and marketing team to use for demand generation and sales development.

● Develop product specifications and user manuals to be shared with other desks on how the products work.

● Work together with all the other Desks in the company to ensure a smooth launch of new products and services.

- Technical support and training to sales, marketing team and farmers

● Provide product training to the sales and operation team on new products and services, through on the job training, group training and field support.

● Provide advisory services to pilot clients on new products and services and its application.

● Degree in Agronomy from a well-known institution, preferably in Cambodia

● Desired is a specialization in soil science and /or water management

● 3-5+ years relevant working experience in similar field, preferably in private sector

● Willingness to frequently travel to other provinces, especially in rural areas for specific projects

● Willingness to be located in Siem Reap

● Great affinity with the agricultural sector and modern farming technologies for smallholder farmers

● Experience with training farmers

● Competence in Microsoft office, data analysis skills

● English language skills required
