Job Description

• Conduct meetings with stakeholders to identify design requirements.

• Prepare design documents, such as drawings, visuals, development data, presentation & reports.

• Prepare report/findings through graphic illustrations and translate complex findings into written text.

• Prepare and review concept, schematic, design development, tender & construction drawings to ensure design requirements are met.

• Prepare and review project/technical specifications.

• Ensure information is available before commencing design, design brief, As-Built, survey plan, etc.

• Prepare recommendations to improve safety, practicality, cost efficiency, aesthetic, value, function and reduce design error.

• Initiate site visits and compile design related information as project-learning.

• Ensure design is compliant to standards, building code, guidelines, regulations and/or best practices.

• Coordinate with other in-house trades (Design Engineers/Interior Designer)

• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Design/Landscape/Engineering Science

• At least 4-year experience as a designer in consultant (preferred) or developer firm

• Fluent in English / Khmer

• In-depth technical knowledge in production of images, illustrations & presentations

• Proficient in industry-standard design tools & programs; AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS. Office & In-Design

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

• Able to multi-task and complete task in a timely manner

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Able to present a portfolio of completed design works
