-Participate in development and implementation of companywide IT security strategies. -Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions. -Working with IT Infrastructure team in updating software’s with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource. -Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying, and defending against threats, and developing disaster recovery plans. -Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements. -Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior. -Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction. -Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice. -Conduct regular internal IT Security audits -Regular reporting on security incidents and ensure overview of new and developing threats and vulnerabilities. -Training for company staff members as and when required by EEX Dpt.

-Experience in a similar capacity. Experience in Information Auditing, performing VAPTs (ISMS implementations will be an added advantage) -Preparation of IT security policies and standards -Familiarity with system monitoring, assessment, and reporting tools. -Proficiency in IT infrastructure management and network security establishment. -Knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls. -Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing experience -Good business process knowledge and understanding of business drivers and business objectives to translate them into security requirements -Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls -Ability to work with minimal supervision -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, project and application development teams, management and business personnel
