Drafter responsibilities include gathering drawings and specifications, calculating material and equipment requirements and setting up production methods. If you have hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and are familiar with building processes, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us build functional, secure and well-designed products and structures that meet our needs. •This role reports to Head of Design & Shop Drawing Department. •Has exceptional modern design sense •Assisting in preparing for conceptual diagrams and presentations •Develop & implement quality of production according to building codes, law, requirements and architectural graphic standards •Develop & implement the smooth flowing of the operation system from concept, schematic design through the development of construction documents as per guidance from the Project Manager and/ or Project Leader. •To exhibit strong technical expertise with clear understanding of space requirements, materials, color, lighting systems and construction methods. •To exhibit strong computer skills in software such as AutoCAD, sketch up, 3Dmax, and all of its functions •To exhibit strong detailing skills such as wall sections, windows and doors sections, structural joints, finishing materials and carpentry construction. •To exhibit strong rendering skills using programs like V-ray render. •To exhibit good model making skills and good understanding of the concept model, schematic model, site model, building model and detail model is a plus. •To coordinate with Project Manager involved and the production team in developing project plans such as project feasibility, financial, quantity estimation, marketing materials, master planning design, scheduling and technical expertise •Taking design direction from pre-concept through design development and detailing •Inspire passion for elevating design within the firm. •Coordinating with suppliers and sourcing for design materials. •Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

•Bachelor architectural degree from an accredited institution •Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience (post-grad) •AutoCAD proficiency, 3D proficiency and Adobe creative suite a must, Max rendering skill a plus •Familiarity with international building codes •Currently living in or ability to move to Phnom Penh, Cambodia •Good English language communication skills •Work examples that demonstrate a strong design sensibility and superior technical knowledge •Ability to produce detailed and coordinated construction documents •Comfort with multi-tasking and collaboration within a context of fast-paced projects •Ability to use multiple media (hand sketching through advanced digital) to develop, test, and communicate design ideas quickly and effectively
