Term of Contract: Annual, full-time Base Location: Thma Koul OD in Battambang province (*Recently, main office of Heart to Heart Foundation Cambodia is located in Siem Reap. The Battambang office will be newly opened in June in Battambang town.) Start Date: 17 May 2021 Job Summary: Field Organizer will be basically responsible for planning and organizing outreach activities such as campaigns, public events, and community meetings for the community awareness and participation for the project. Information on the Project Information on the Project - Name of Project: Project to Community-based Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases - Project Site: Thma koul OD, Battambang province - Project Period: 1st April 2021- 31st December 2023 - Overall Goal: Contribution to reducing the burden of Non-Communicable Disease in Battambang - Project Purpose: Strengthening community based Non-Communicable Disease prevention and control - Project Outcomes ▪ Strengthening Primary Health Service for NCD prevention and control ▪ Increasing NCD awareness for community ▪ Strengthening governance for NCD at targeted OD level Core Functions The Field Organizer is responsible to provide overall leadership and management to the community based activities of H2H Cambodia NCD project. He/she will be responsible for ensuring smoothly operations, achieving the project objectives and goals which were identified in the approved proposals and support technical of project implementation such as design project, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. He/she will be ensuring collaboration, representing projects of H2H Cambodia with various stakeholders and partners, government agencies and local authorities are well communicated to achieve project objectives. Major Responsibilities - Produce project documents in English such as official letters, reports, presentation slides and meeting minutes. - Provide assistance to international staff as interpreter or translator in English. - Implement activities of Non-Communicable Disease prevention and control project working together with public health providers from referral hospital and health centers. - Facilitate training and workshops in cooperation with health staff. - Interview patients, caretakers and health staff to conduct various kinds of survey and analyze the data. - Find a solution for various issues in cooperation with team members and counterparts. - Expand trustful relationship with counterparts (PHD, OD, RH, PRH, HC/VHSG), other NGOs, patients and caretakers with sincere attitude and respect to these stakeholders. - In addition to the duties stated above, the employee shall perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Jobs Requirement

- Must be a Battambang resident. - Thma Koul residents are prioritized. - Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills in English and Khmer. - Bachelor degree in health, nutrition, social work, development studies or related fields. - At least 3-year work experience in development or public health-related areas. - Understanding on Cambodia public health system - Good knowledge and experience in program or project design, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, project financial management and report writing - Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills - Computer proficient in MS word, Excel, spreadsheet, powerpoint and the internet - Creative and flexible thinking and proactive attitude to new experiences and challenges. - Strong commitment to the mission and vision of H2H - Strong commitment and compassion to community and underprivileged people Closing date of application: Wednesday, 5 May 2021, at 5:00pm * Only short-listed for interview will be contacted by email and Interviews will be commenced by Online (Zoom) within 2days after closing date of application.
