Jobs Description

- Support the Regional Internal Audit (IA) Manager in providing internal audit services across the group business operations locally in Cambodia and at overseas locations; - Support the Regional IA Manager in the performance of the risk based operational, financial and compliance audits of the group, specifically: (i) Execute the planned risk based audit activities to ensure timely delivery of audit reports; (ii) Ensure that the IA activities are carried out in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Internal Audit Institute’s Code of Ethics; (iii) Support to the Regional IA team in execution of fieldwork to ensure adequate and proper testing and evaluation of internal controls that mitigate key business risks identified; (iv) Prepare the audit working paper and ensure adequate documentation and sufficient appropriate audit evidence have been obtained to support all IA findings/issues raised; (v) Ensure adequate documentation and sufficient appropriate audit evidence have been obtained to support any potential IA findings/issues raised; (vi) Assist the Regional IA Manager in discussion with business management on potential IA findings / issues and recommendations for business improvement. Ensure timely drafting of the IA findings and secure agreement from business management; (vii) Assist the Regional IA Manager in preparation of exit meeting and presentation of all IA findings and recommendations to site business management; (viii) Draft IA findings/issues for review by the Regional IA Manager; - Assist the Regional IA Manager to maintain a proper system for documentation and recording of IA plans, work papers, findings, reports and follow up of site management actions for all IA engagements in line with the Group IA Department’s requirement; - Follow up of IA findings/issues with respective site operations management to ensure identified control issues are properly and timely remediated; - Participate in reviews (if needed) related to whistleblowing activities including fraud investigations; - Undertake any other ad hoc assurance assignments as directed by Head - Group IA as when required; - Overseas (outside of Cambodia) travels to business site locations are required (estimated between 10% - 20% per annum);

Jobs Requirement

- A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Management. Professional certification such as CIA/ACCA/CPA is a plus; - A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (internal and/or external audit and corporate governance related) with at least 2 years experience in supervision capacity; - Experience in power generations (thermal, hydro and solar), power transmission and distribution and manufacturing industries are highly desirable; - Demonstrate good project management skills to ensure timely deliverables; - Good planning, organizing and presentation skills and capacity for multi-tasking; - Analytical thinking, good business acumen and problem solving skills; - Good communication skills (verbal & written) with ability to articulate IA findings/issues clearly; - Well verse in the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); - Demonstrate independence and objectivity in all IA engagements / projects; - Proactive, result oriented, team player and able to work under minimum supervision; and - Good proficiency in English.
