1. To carry out Quantity Surveyor professional duties functions relative to Construction Projects as directed by the Commercial Manager. These will include but not limited to the following: - Prepare Tender documents, budget costs and procurement schedules - Evaluate monthly interim valuations and variation accounts for Employer consideration, - Prepare certification and raise payment in accordance with form of contract. - Prepare, negotiate, assess and provide recommendation on Final Accounts - Prepare pre-contract estimates, monitor budget, and prepare monthly cost reconciliation reports - Prepare supplier tender packages, negotiate contracts and prepare purchase orders - Monitor contractual matters and prepare and issue all relevant contract notification letters Employer, Consultant and Contractors alike - Assess any claim submissions and provide recommendation / responses required - Liaise with accounts department and assist in the timely payment Of interim certificates and invoices - Undertake Tender analysis exercise and recommendation advice - Quantity take-offs and production of Bill of Quantities / Schedule of rates. - Draft scope of works for lump sum enquiries - Design input and value engineering - Feasibility and lifecycle cost exercises - Reviewing contractual claims and dispute resolution - Generally arithmetical checking 2. To be responsible to the Commercial Manager for the overall financial management Of construction projects so allocated 3. To assist in the further development of organization and management structures and systems within the Commercial department to enhance efficiency and productivity 4. To interface on behalf of the Company with Contractors / Consultants; business associates and Other personnel on matters relating to the Quantity Surveying Department. 5. To liaise with the Construction/ Project Manager on all contractual matters relative to the Quantity Surveying function 6. To perform other functions as directed by the Commercial Manager within the purview of the Quantity Surveying position.

- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of Construction - 4+ years' experience in related field - Strong at Math - Precise and detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy - Ability to communicate and negotiate - Diligent with a meticulous eye for detail - Proficient with Microsoft Office - Ability to absorb complex information and access requirements readily - English language skills in both written and spoken English.
