Jobs Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning and Development Manager to support the ongoing training and development of our in-house and outsourced Client Services team in order to ensure a high-quality customer experience. This leader will own the identification of training and development needs and the subsequent creation and delivery of training solutions. The L&D Manager will also provide classroom instruction to new hire candidates and incumbent employees. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and company policy. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success developing and delivering training programs, working closely with outsourced vendors to assess and support site trainers, and devising scalable learning systems. Responsibilities: 1. Develop a needs assessment process and create an instructional design process with appropriate delivery methods and post-training evaluations 2. Conduct training needs assessments and oversee the training function 3. Develop, compose and compile training materials and other training aids such as equipment and visual aids 4. Development of courses to include customer service and technical support 5. Maintain liaison efforts with client to ensure all deadlines and expectations surrounding reporting and training events are met or exceeded 6. Manage, lead, motivate and develop training team members 7. Write performance evaluations of training staff 8. Coordinate efforts to ensure the full utilization of all site training facilities, processes, resources, and equipment 9. Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered 10. Resolve and respond to training issues and questions from leaders and employees on the application and interpretation of processes, company policies and current legislation 11. Promotes the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in dealing with employees, vendors, customers and the community 12. Incorporates, administers, and monitors operating budget for the training department 13. Thrives as a team player in a fast paced, high energy, change oriented environment 14. Jobs Requirement

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field or equivalent experience 2. 3+ years’ experience in adult learning assessment, curriculum design, development, delivery and reporting methods 3. Experience in F&B Industry is a plus 4. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook.) 5. Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills 6. Acute attention to detail, problem solving and multi-tasking skills 7. Must possess the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and report in on all tasks as assigned 8. Experienced and effective in conflict resolution and relationship management 9. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks/projects to meet specified deadlines 10. Must possess a positive, solution-oriented and customer-focused attitude 11.
