Jobs Description

General: • To assist HRM in delivering all human resources activities, which include employment, remuneration, employee relations, benefits, health & safety, training and development and other HR related activities. • Assist HR Manager in conducting checks to employee facilities to follow up with maintenance and cleanliness project requests to related departments. Directly responsible for supervising all employee facilities and to ensure daily inspection and proper maintenance and cleanliness. • Ensure proper welcoming of new employee is in place with all necessary preparation includes welcome pack preparation, orientation schedule, first three months temperature check schedule with employee and Department Head • To assist HRM in arranging and monitoring induction for all team members upon arrival. Ensure that all documentation is completed at commencement of employment for all resort based employees as per the commencement checklist. • Supervise all matters/regarding the employee’s cafeteria, inclusive of canteen menu, monthly theme days and special festive days. Establish and sustain an Employee Restaurant Committee who meet on a monthly basis. Introduce a suggestion card for employee feedback. • Tracing and putting forward all schedules related with employment deadline to HRM for proper follow up which includes end of contract, probationary review dates, training activities, performance reviews, team buildings, employee activities, expatriate work permits, visa, internship and other administrative requirements. • Prepare all employment contracts with standard template for the HRM and General Manager’s signature and ensure that all employment conform to the laws of the land and the company’s policies for the position. • Ensure that all Personnel process and personnel action forms are done accurately and timely. And in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each process. • Prepare and assist in the preparation of documentation for resignations and terminations. Conduct exit interviews or act as translator for exit interviews as required. • Ensure that all documents are ready for payroll processing and submitted to Brocon Office by the 25th of each month. And that correct records are kept confidentially and updated in a timely manner. • Assist HR Manager for producing monthly reports such as end of employment contracts, leave reports, probationary reviews, performance reviews, new hires, leavers, summary of exit interviews and among others every 5th of the month. • Translation of HR documents from English-Khmer-English. Recruitment • To assist HR Manager in the recruitment of all team members and to liaise with all Department Heads accordingly. This includes interviewing job applicants, review applications/CVs, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications, experience and suitability. And scheduling onsite interviews for local hires and for expatriate interview when necessary. • Maintain database of all applicant’s CVs for future recruitment requirements. • Maintain an electronic database of past, current and potential (talent file) employees for recruitment purposes. • Ensure all legal requirements are met when processing work permit, visa and ensuring all records are updated and maintained. • To develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities /colleges, local schools and other recruitment sources. Administration • To ensure all team member files are up to date with correct legal documents and all administration is carried out as required. • Ensure all legal requirements are met when processing work visa and work permits for expatriate employees. And to ensure that all records are updated and maintained. • Maintain an up-to-date files for each employee currently working with recruitment information, contract and all relevant information concerning the employee and his/her performance. • To develop and maintain human resources data-bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems in accordance with the HR audit requirements. Team & Team Development • To assist in ensuring the disciplinary and grievance procedure is carried out in accordance with best practice, as and when necessary. • To assist with all matters relating to team member welfare, initiating employee monthly activities, training and development. • To conduct Song Saa Stories as needed. • To assist HR Manager in conducting SOP audits to all departments in coordination with the department heads. Communication & Team Recognition • To assist HRM for the planning and conducting with the employee of the month and year awards, long service awards, honesty and organize all monthly and annual celebrations. This includes coordinating and organizing social events together with the HR Team which includes birthdays, hospital visits, religious celebrations, monk blessings, recognition programs, and other related social activities. General • Maintain good contact with Local Authority (Chief Atoll, Police, Medical facilities) • To project a smart image at all times by complying fully with the grooming and dress regulations and by maintaining the highest level of personal hygiene. Also to ensure all team members comply with the standards. • Effective interpersonal communication skill to be able to provide day to day service to employees visiting HR office. • Maintain high confidentiality level of all information coming through HR office official or non-official and keeping all the information within the professional boundaries of HR team. • Maintains cleanliness and maintenance of the work area and all HR equipment. Report any broken furniture and equipment. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. It is only an indication of the duties and responsibilities expected from you. Jobs Requirement

o At least 2-3 years experiences in Human Resources Department. o Ability to effectively and efficiently supervise staff, daily operations and resolve operational problems in compliance with policies and procedures. o Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills. o Previous experience of working on a luxury property. o Fluent in English o Computer knowledge – MS Office Application, internet and email. o Flexibility to respond to the needs of the business o Ability to work under pressure and autonomously o Able to stay on an island Interested applicants should submit their CV to ellen@songsaa.com
